The good: So firstly, the staff are super nice. I want to make sure everyone knows that my poor review is because of the hotel itself, not the staff. The bad: 1. The shower head was very old so water came out in different directions. 2. The faucet was right beside the basin, so your hands hit the basin every time you wash your hands, rendering the washed hands unclean (unless you super carefully wash them). 3. The TV needed to be turned on twice.

I stayed with family members in Sanrio family rooms which are located in 26/F of hotel. Once yiu stepped out from the lift, WOW… you can see Sanrio around, on the wall, the doors and when you opened room door, it’s hard not to take photos and even videos …… so beautiful and large, again, Sanrio everywhere. Even though we are not fans of Sanrio, the extraordinary theme brings you happiness. Room facilities are sufficient and good. Nothing bad to comment except that it would be more desirable if the bed can be 2-3 inches lower in height.

After going through previous reviews, I was hesitant about choosing to stay at Hotel Nikko before my trip. After comparing different hotels and trusting the name of the Hotel Nikko group, I decided to give it a try. I left remarks/requests in my booking regarding my allergy/asthma condition. To my surprise, during my check-in, the staff went through each remark I left and reassured me that they tried to accommodate my requests. They also explained to me the duration it would take to cancel the deposit authorization when using an overseas credit card.

Hotel Nikko is a new(ish) property smack in the middle of the shopping district in KS. The hotel is easily reached on the red line and is adjacent to the posh Intercontinental and the Japanese Sogo dept. store (many food options there). The rooms are very modern with all the amenities and services that you can expect from a top level luxury chain like Nikko. The desk staff are very attentive and thorough almost to excess as they explain ever single detail.

I checked into a room with a small tent for my 3-year-old child, which had stuffed toys inside, and a small table with snacks. Both adults and children were very happy as soon as they entered! The bathroom design and facilities were excellent—bright, clean, and comfortable. The room’s view overlooked Kaohsiung Harbor and the sunset, which was great! The breakfast buffet had a wide variety of high-quality food, making it a surprisingly delightful breakfast buffet! The swimming pool is indeed a popular spot for photos, but on the day of our stay, the water temperature was relatively low, the wind was strong, and the sunlight couldn’t reach, making it a bit cold; we just splashed around and left. We were very satisfied from check-in until just before check-out, but we were disappointed when preparing to leave. When we rolled our luggage to the check-out counter, we learned that the stuffed toys with the hotel name in the room were gifts that we could take, but I didn’t want to carry my child and pull the luggage back to the room.

This is a sincere review of my own expenses. Please read it. The parking lot was spacious with plenty of spots, which was great. The first room had a beautiful view of the pool, but the window had severe water stains and water was continuously dripping. So I requested a room change and switched to a city view on the opposite side.

I feel that many details in the hotel are handled very well: 1. The sockets are universal types, so there’s no need to prepare adapters. 2. The toilet and bathroom are separated, but the hotel has designed the room door in a way that prevents interference between someone needing to use the toilet and someone taking a shower. 3. Almost all smart networking features have been integrated together. 4. Although the hotel parking spaces are not enough, there is an auxiliary parking lot nearby, and you just need to inform the front desk of your car number each time you go out. 5. The corridors have carpets (to prevent external noise), the space under the bed in the room is carpeted, while the rest is wooden (balancing quietness and cleanliness).

The hotel is located just a few minutes away from Sanduo Station, making transportation convenient, with three major department stores nearby and a concentration of dining options. The hotel’s interior design creates a relaxing atmosphere; even the small lobby is exceptional. The room design is minimalist, with well-thought-out layouts and amenities that are truly commendable. The room is extremely clean, which can only be described as spotless. The hotel’s service is truly at a super five-star level; upon entering for the first time, a staff member greeted me and actively took my luggage to my room.

The very good thing is that all the welcoming and front desk staff are polite and attentive to the point of being a bit excessive. Upon entering the room, it feels great, and the mattress is very comfortable. Many travelers have already commented on the comfort at Crystal Hotel, so I won’t go into details, but here are some personal suggestions for improvement: There are several steps when entering the hotel, and every time you come in and out, staff remind you to be careful of the steps. Why not improve the design to make it easier for everyone? The water pressure in the shower of the room is insufficient; perhaps changing the shower head to a smaller one could help. As for the shower products, could the bottles be designed with a window? Because I only realized the shower gel was already empty after getting wet the next day, and I had to find staff to replace it, which was a bit awkward.

American family with two young boys, 1 yr & 5yr. Staff were quick and efficient with check-in and check-out. We were walking distance – although not “right next to” – Love River and all the fair that goes with that tourist area. Only a block away from Kaohsiung’s light rail, which takes you to several of the significant tourist areas for $30 TWD (approx. 1 USD) per adult.

We stayed in panorama suite 69th floor family of 4 (ages 1 and 4) 4nights. Pros- view and location, breakfast is good just same everyday. Pool, gym and kids play area great. Sky lounge and restaurants are convienent, also room service. Food was good.
