Due to business trips, I have visited many business hotels and general hotels near Seomyeon or Beomeojeong, and around Busan Station, but Seomyeon is the best. The facilities, quality, and service are such that one can say it reflects the Lotte brand. Location-wise, it is close to Seomyeon Station, and on days when Lotte Department Store is open, you can access the hotel, department store, and station through the underground passage. At night, for those who enjoy drinking, there is a street of tent bars behind Lotte Hotel, making it convenient to visit, and many nearby restaurants are also available. Just one block away is Seomyeon 2nd Street, which is popular with young people, so young travelers can enjoy restaurants and bars.

Since I could communicate in Japanese, I was able to use the services comfortably without any inconvenience. In terms of cleanliness, there was urine splattered in the bathroom and food-like stains on the back of an instruction manual next to the phone, but aside from the clear reuse aspect, everything else was perfect. I hoped for a high floor, a corner room, and a quiet room, but I got a corner room on the 21st floor right next to the elevator. There was a room with small children next door or nearby, and on the first night, I constantly heard running noises; the walls were thick, but it was still stressful. Since I requested a quiet room, I would have preferred to be separated from the rooms with small children.

This hotel is worth every penny! From the day we arrived, the staff were very accomodating especially the receptionist guy Lee, he was friendly, & nice, all smiles, and gave us a room upgrade from city view to partial ocean view! He also facilitated the scheduling of my son’s driving lessons at the BMW Driving Zone. They are also very helpful. When I realized I left my vlogging camera in the airport car, the female receptionist assisted me by calling the driver and they talked in Korean, I was able to get back my camera after 20 mins. The location of the hotel was superb, literally beach front and a few mins walk to the Haeundae Subway Station, Haeundae Blueline Park Mipo Station, and Haeundae Traditional (Night) Market. There are many cafes and reatos nearby and a convenience store.

I had high expectations for Ananti, but there were some disappointing aspects, so I am writing this honest review. As mentioned in various reviews, the facilities and amenities are indeed lavish and the scale is overwhelming, befitting a five-star rating. Here are a few honest points of disappointment! This is purely my personal opinion. Given the large building, I thought it would have been nice if the guidance system was a bit more precise. I found myself wandering around often.

I was satisfied with the room and facilities. The razor provided in the room was 12,000 won but my father was pleased to find it of good quality. He really liked the comfort of the bed (I brought an electric blanket and turned it on for him). The hotel was large, giving a sense of openness, and he enjoyed the Christmas tree and other sights. However, there was a strong bleach smell in the water of the outdoor hot pool at Waterhouse.
Park Hyatt Busan

Nestled between the stunning Gwangalli Beach and the lively Haeundae Beach, it offers breathtaking views that are absolutely perfect for your Instagram grid ^_^. The weather was very cold when we arrived at 6pm after taking one hour airport bus. We appreciate that two staffs ran to us and help take our luggages during the cold weather outside. The checkin process was quick. However, a room with wooden blocks at Windows was assigned to us. They told us that it was due to the safety issue.

The hotel is nice, the staff are gracious and welcoming, and the location and view of the bay and the bridge are really great. It’s a very nice place to stay. The breakfast arrangements are a bit strange and feel the a la carte could be better. Perhaps it is just the comparison with the Grand Intercontinential where I’d stayed earlier but the service seemed confused (we were given wrong orders on multiple days) and while the food was certainly nice, it just seemed to lack the higher quality I’d expect at a park Hyatt. Additionally, seating for breakie seemed muddled and found quite often familesi with noisy kids would let them play their iPads at high volume kinda of disrupting the breakie atmosphere.
Explore The City
Busan is seriously brimming with incredible places to stay, and these four are just the beginning of what this vibrant city offers. If you’re itching to explore even more gorgeous accommodations and find your perfect spot, make sure to check out additional options nearby!
