I stayed here in March with 4 friends. We had a 2 bedroom apartment and everything was great. The apartment was clean well stocked with linen, toiletries and kitchen necessities. The location was also perfect especially being right across the road from the Time Out market and a stone’s throw from the water. It’s really easy to get around the city from here.

First of all, this is a spacious apartment. Ample closet space, nicely laid out lounge that has room for a sofabed. Though the building has a classic 19th century facade, It has modern furnishings inside. The location is excellent, near the TimeOut Market and the Metro and other means of transport. The staff is quite friendly too.

We stayed at The Late Birds as the first stop on our honeymoon in Portugal. It was the perfect starting point for our trip — the staff was super accommodating and friendly, as was the cat (I think named Mia) who lives in the hotel. The rooms are thoughtfully put together, while our room wasn’t huge it was perfectly fine for our purposes. There’s free breakfast and a gorgeous back area with a pool and bar that you should definitely take advantage of if you stay here, especially on weekends when they have a DJ out there. The location was perfect, very centrally located but not directly in the overcrowded tourist strips.

We had the “Zinc” unit located one flight of stairs above ground level. The building is located on a quiet one way street with no bus or trolley traffic. BEWARE of rip-off cheat taxis from the airport to the central city. USE UBER! We had read about these thief taxis in one Lisbon guidebook, but did not realize it was such a common problem mainly on the route from the airport to the central city. The driver can change the fare to twice or whatever the amount he wishes by pressing a button on or near the meter (even though the meter appeared to show the correct fare from the airport to our destination.

When I got there I was stunned by the beauty of this place – the wall mural about why it’s called bronze art apartments was so cool and all the modern details like huge shower head and cool lighting was impressive. I legit just wished that was my apartment. I live in the Boston area and just thought that set up was so much nicer than mine – furniture, appliances, set up and all, and I appreciated being there. They made the entry and exit process very convenient and I didn’t need to speak to anyone really – I saw the cleaning woman around and told her a few things but otherwise it was pretty quiet.

Our room was cosy, clean, bright and comfortable! The Casa is in a fantastic location, near lots of bars and restaurants and easy to get to from the airport. You are also very near various trams! The real draw here however is the incredible welcome and service provided by Manuel the Casa manager; When I arrived, I was waiting for my friend to get in from the airport and had arrived a little before check-in, so instead of telling me to come back later, Manuel personally brought me to a local coffee shop for a coffee and told me all about Lisbon, good places to eat and sights to see, as well as some history and culture (he’s also just great fun to chat to!). Throughout our trip he was on hand to help or give guidance, including inviting us to join himself and his family at a Fado performance (which unfortunately we never got to do, but we so appreciated the invitation). On an occasion when we realised we had accidentally left our key in our room while out at dinner, we called him directly and he had the issue fixed in a matter of minutes! While there are plenty of larger hotels around that would have an anonymous vibe, the little Casa made us feel more welcome and comfortable than any of them could!! We had no major issues, the only slight annoyance was sound from upstairs as there were repairs taking place in the casa during our stay!.

First, they sent a detailed email prior to our arrival that made checking in easy. The apartment is gorgeous, and even more importantly, it was pristine. The location is ideal in that there are numerous restaurants nearby and is close to public transportation. The train station was only about 15 minutes pleasant walk and enabled us to do easy day-trips. There are several tourist attractions within walking distance.

Location, location, location! We loved this neighborhood!! We had one injured pilgrim from the Camino. We needed to rest & be able to slowly walk (hobble) to any restaurant, bar or shop. This place was perfect! Well appointed apartment in all regards. The technology was simply amazing, a bit confusing for us older generation, but fun! A very “smart” apartment. Very modern, clean, & comfortable.
