I visited as a newlywed on my honeymoon in Japan ๐ฏ๐ต. It is a large hotel located right in front of Santa Maria Novella Station in Florence, and even on rainy days, access to the station is not an issue โ. The front desk staff was very polite and friendly, and they spoke English, so it was no problem not knowing Italian! They also provided a map of Florence and recommended sightseeing spots! Additionally, you can leave your luggage for free even before check-in. At check-in, I received a welcome drink card, and from 11:30 onwards, I was happy to enjoy one free drink per person at the bar โ. The room was quite spacious (there might have been an upgrade), making it very comfortable! – There was a bathtub, and the shower water pressure was excellent.

Strategically located outside Florence SMN train station, this is a convenient hotel with modern facilities. We booked the family room which is in the lower T floor and seems to be the only room next to the house keeping chambers. The room is huge with two bedrooms and a bathroom. There was a fridge, safe and closet. Bathroom was spacious with a big shower area and an additional bathtub and second shower.

I had a great stay with Hotel Albani. I was assigned to a ground floor room which was noisy due to the present on going construction. I requested for a higher floor which was granted by the higher rank female staff. This female staff was kind, considerate, assisting for she answered our queries patiently and talked to us gently. Sorry I missed to get her name.

The hotel is very nicely appointed with old world charm. The rooms are spacious with en suite facilities. The location is one block from the station and close to everything but just far enough away to avoid the hustle of the tourist. The breakfast is also good and worth including. There is little to complain about, but while we were there, construction was taking place and there was scaffolding blocking our view outside.

I chose a location right in front of the station again this time. I think it was a good choice and I am very satisfied. Walking back and forth with a heavy suitcase in the sizzling hot weather, I really understand how much of an advantage the location in front of the station is. Especially since I bought a bag and perfume in Florence, I had more luggage, but after checking in my bags, sitting on the reception hall sofa with clean and cool restrooms and getting water, I felt really good when I headed to the station on time, especially in the 39-degree weather. The staff are very friendly.

First of all, it’s possible to walk from Florence station in about 3 minutes. If you go out to the right, it’s right after crossing the crosswalk. The interior is modern, the bathrooms are clean, and the shower stalls are spacious for Europe, so there’s no inconvenience. There were reviews saying that Asian guests were placed in corner rooms on the first floor, but that was actually fine? Haha. I only needed a place to sleep, so it didn’t matter much, although there is a tram stop right in front, so it can be a bit noisy, but it’s quiet after 10 PM anyway! Soundproofing seems to be the same in any accommodation in Europe; I could hear some noise.

The hotel is two bus stops away from Firenze Sta Maria station. You can walk with your luggages but the roads are not evenly paved. Make sure to buy your tickets else it will cost more by Eur1 every ride. We got these hotel rooms on super deal so not really bad. Overall, rooms are a bit dark coz of the yellow lights.

We stayed in Florence for 3 nights whilst exploring northern Italy. This hotel is just 7 minutes from the Duomo, so excellent location. The staff on arrival were very accomodating, so much so that the gentlemen (I believe his name is Sam) carried by mothers luggage upstairs for us. He then gave us a map and explained what we should explore and when. He suggested to go to the piazzo michaelangelo at 8pm for sunset, and this was stunning- a must see, as the atmosphere was amazing.

Once we found the place (bit hard to find as the reception is on a different block to the accommodation) – they did write clear instructions on the check in papers but I didn’t read it. but once I found the instructions it all made sense! The staff were lovely, very professional and helpful. Recommended all the good places to go and what times are the best times to visit.

The room was very spacious, bright and clean. It provided all the ammenities needed for a holiday in Florence including great storage and hanging space, very effective fan, comfy bed and a great view. The two windows are huge and we had a great view towards the Duomo and across the terracotta roofs of Florence. There’s also a TV if you need one. The room is also tidied every day.
