Firstly, I would like to comment on how amazing my stay has been. I have extended my stay twice, initally from one night, through to four days, and then again to a total of nine nights. This in itself is a testamony to the room, facilities, and most importantly the staff. As a lowly solo traveller I would never have had expected such amazing service, and I truly feel like I have had the VIP experience; the staff have made me feel so special and have brightened my trip up so much. I need to also commend two of the staff at the hotel who were part of making my stay so special and incredible; Chef Made, and Mr Edi Wibawa.

The staff at Le Grande Hotel were very nice and helpful. This hotel is a bit old but very clean. The pools are big and great but the water doesn’t refresh you. too warm unfortunately.

During my recent stay at Anantara I had an exceptional experience that exceeded my expectations. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the hotel’s attention to detail and commitment to customer satisfaction. We stayed at Anantara as we loved the Anantara resort in Maldives where we stayed for 10 days in February this year. Unfortunately the experience at the resort in Bali was quite different failing to meet our expectations on many levels. Starting from failing to give us the Welcome drinks on arrival to giving us a room that was mouldy when we asked for a humidifier to take the moisture out of the air was told there was no humidifier in the whole Hotel. We are woken up from 5 am because we are directly under the Restaurant that is so noisy with them moving chairs and setting up every morning which was most unpleasant especially the first day as we only arrived at 1st not getting to sleep until 4am because of the bad smell in the room. The room is not well maintained with the door failing to close when exiting and making us late for lunch we had booked at the cave because the sale malfunctioned and I could not get my wallet out of it and it took 30 minutes after calling asking housekeeping and finally going down to reception to wait in line finally getting someone who had to try all the keys just to get it open.

The hotel is great, modern, nice style They are very fast in responding to calls and the room dining was great. I care about small details in hotels. When you charge me around $1,000 for one night I expect to get very exceptional services. My stay was very good but as advised I am not staying in a normal 5 star hotel. I was in Jumeriah Bali before staying at Allila and can see a very big difference in service level but they are all very small details.

Absolutely gorgeous villa away from the buzz. The clean line view of the Indian ocean from the resort’s infinity pool is amazing! Purged 100m above the sea, dining by the cliff is one of the most romantic feeling one can ask for. I’d recommend the 100 candles private dinner in their cabana during sunset, all to yourselves! The chefs’ culinary skills are amazing and definitely not far from the Michelin starred ones. Every hotel staff is very polite and helpful, most astonishingly is that they remember your itineraries for the stay! With a small fee, their staff can help you fetch the popular local food like Babi Guling from famous restaurants and have them served in the comfort of your own villa. I’d also recommend climbing down to the bottom of the cliff via a path made by the resort which leads to a small private beach.

The villa interior is very nice and comfortable. The hotel is located 5 min away from Melasti beach, which was very nice, however the staff failed to tell us that they have designated beds there from the hotel (we found out by ourselves). The kids club is very nice and not crowded, kids didn’t want to leave (2 ladies in the kids club are really doing a great job). The hotel is a bit isolated. The staff is nice, however lacking proper training, they give confusing information and blame someone instead of acknowledging the mistake.

Amazing,amazing ,amazing!!!!!!!!! The Villas are huge with an amazing location Nice bathroom,with jacuzzi The location is stunning, in the hill on top of the ocean…………Sunset a MUST , seating on your terrace! Breakfast it’s ok, a lLa carte, and like you have a kitchenette you can always bring your own things and cook ((turn on the woven and warm the pastry from breakfast) If you need they can call a Taxi since it is a bit far and isolated Pool is big and very deep also have a outdoor Jacuzzi One of the best Villas ever! Be back for sure!.

This is my first stay in this spacious villa. It’s indeed luxurious with modern interior. The view here is superb, make me and my friends don’t want to go out from the villa. We spent the whole 2 days inside the villa without going anywhere. This villa is really suitable for group, either having holiday with family or friends.
