Well I was ready to give this one a 10. It really impressed me a lot initially, and I have travelled extensively and stayed in hundreds of hotels – so most of the times it just feels like it’s all the same. The hotel is really nice, with a quiet atmosphere most of the time. It is modern, clean, and isolated from everything. So you will need a bike to move around, or to rely on apps like Grab and BlueBird taxis. The room is big, and the bed is huge with a medium-hard mattress.

Today is our third day in Bali. Since we planned to visit South Kuta, we decided to stay at Swis Belresort Pecatu. IT TURNED OUT WE MADE THE RIGHT CHOICE!!! Because it’s that amazing and we truly love the view and atmosphere at this hotel. Thank you to MRS. YULIANA (Receptionist), she is very friendly, polite, and courteous and has been really helpful to me and my family here (PLEASE KEEP MRS.

I really love this hotel. It’s extremely clean and offers incredible value for money. I honestly can’t believe I was able to stay in such a luxurious and comfortable hotel at such an affordable price. The room is cleaned every day with fresh water replenished. In the hallways, there’s also unlimited free bottled water available.

READ THIS BEFORE BOOKING: Our room was cockroach-free and not dirty. At first glance, everything looked very modern, but on closer inspection, you can tell it has seen better days. The hotel overall is nice but feels a bit run-down and sometimes has a weird smell 😅. We didn’t book the breakfast and instead went to their restaurant for dinner and breakfast. The food was good, and I probably wouldn’t recommend booking the breakfast, as the included breakfast is served in a different restaurant within the hotel than the one we went to.

Kapla Resort is perfect if you’re looking to relax, play some golf, and enjoy quiet beach days. But if you’re after shopping, nightlife, or a variety of restaurants, this isn’t the place for you, it’s quite secluded. Staying here feels a bit like being in a castle. The room is a mixed bag: the bed is comfortable, and everything is functional, including a bathtub and shower, but there are some rough edges and visible wear and tear. If you’re picky about aesthetics or expect everything to be pristine, this might not be your vibe.

Was initially very worried due to all the bad reviews I saw, but was very lucky to have gotten a room without major issues. Asked for a room near lobby and was given 1125. Room was very spacious for the price, and didn’t have any mold or moldy smell present in the bathroom or the room itself. Room and bathroom was clean, looks well furnished and well-litted. Smart TV with Netflix, cold enough aircon (was slightly leaking but it was cold enough so no issue for us), cold enough fridge and bedside power plugs below. For the price paid during this festive season, I got lucky and would say this room I got was definitely worth it.
