We have stayed here previously many times when it was Upaasha. We were told last year that the new ownership was going to make improvements and upgrades making it a “luxury” hotel. The new price rise reflects that. The upgraded restaurant Kuuki on the roof top is beautiful. The breakfast staff led by Ms Tya and Ms Sumari are attentive and hot food made to order is a great and delicious introduction.

From the start it was a seamless check in. Also great was the fact that it is a 24hour check out hotel. We arrived late in the day around 5pm so we could check out at 5pm on the last day, which was great since ours was a late flight out. The rooms were very large and spacious, clean. We got interconnected rooms which was great with our kids.

We got a good deal via Agoda for the “Garden Room” of the Independent Building, which is about a 100 metres walk, and across a moderately-trafficked road, to the foyer of the main hotel. We didn’t find this too much of a hassle, but others might. This building does have its own pool, smaller than the one at the beachfront, but more sheltered and in a garden setting. We didn’t get to use it, but I think it would be nice on a hot day (and at a time of year when the mosquitoes were in less abundance!). Our balcony faced out over the rear fence of the property, so not really any view the garden, more so of those of the adjoining villas and field, which were pleasant enough on the eye.

I stayed for two nights on May 27 and 28. The weather was clear with intense sunlight, burning my skin. The location is between Oberoi and The Legian, and with Grab, it’s about a 10-minute ride (around 250 yen) to most food and shopping options. There are currency exchange and convenience stores within a 3-minute walk. I saw one group of Japanese people.

Our stay here was very memorable. We stayed at W last 25th of June to 27th but we always eat at Starfish restaurant then we came back on July 3 until 5, starfish restaurant was full so we had no choice to eat at Fire restaurant but it was the most beautiful place and service we cant imagine. Starfish was very nice but Fire was excellent as weve been living abroad and we saw a famous dish in our country that we haven’t eaten for ages so when we saw one and were happy about it the servers then asked us if we wanted to order that for tomorrow and we did. The chef came out the next day and asked us about how to make it more perfect. It was very nice and loving moment for us.

I am a Korean who is really stingy with compliments, but this is almost the first best hotel I have experienced, having stayed at only five-star hotels. All the staff are very kind. They are too kind to the point where it feels overwhelming. The staff responses are all quick, and since we mentioned we are on our honeymoon, the service was top-notch. The security was also satisfactory, and they immediately recognized my hotel membership upon arrival.

7 day stay with a cracking view of the sea, surf, sunsets and more. When we arrived early due to flights, we had to sit around until the room was ready! We managed to get in 3 hours early. A tad warm and humid in the lobby and a few mozzies. The reception would or could benefit from A/C to drop the overall humidity a touch – Huge room on the top floor, well decorated , a bit dated and aircon musty, but worked – Room was decorated to celebrate our anniversary-Nice touch.

This hotel is offering luxury and has great value for money. We booked the ocean view suite and it was indeed as if we were at the ocean. The room was HUGE, it had its own dressing room with a well lit dresser table, the bathroom was the size of a room itself, and the bed was big enough for three people to sleep comfortably. The balcony had a jacuzzi and the hotel pool was just in front. One more add on which truly shows how this hotel has thought of all the little things that matter is that the room had its own Harman Kardon speaker, one of the best.
