We stayed in a Plaza Deluxe Family Room for three nights with three people. Despite being a five-star hotel, the price felt quite reasonable considering Hong Kong. Since we were using the room with multiple people, the space for opening up our suitcases felt somewhat cramped, but it wasn’t significantly inconvenient. Even though we didn’t request it, there was an ironing board and iron in the room, and since the location isn’t in a bustling area, it was nice and quiet. However, the type of room we had had a connecting door to the adjacent room, which was locked, but we did hear some noise from the guests next door late at night, which was a bit uncomfortable.

There is an online check-in service that is convenient. Once you arrive at the counter, you just need to present your passport, and the staff will help you verify the accuracy of the room booking, the number of guests, and various details regarding your stay. It’s good to prepare a credit card as you need to pay a deposit of $500 per night; multiply that by the number of nights you stay. However, you can also pay in cash, but you need to have the exact amount. All the staff are very helpful.

If you have a flight schedule that requires arriving or departing late at night, this is the best place. It’s very convenient for storing luggage and wandering around. The hotel is located inside the airport building, so after entering the country (on the 5th floor of the airport), it takes about 2-3 minutes to walk straight to the hotel (since the airport is large). There is also an ATM in the hotel, so you don’t have to go looking for one. On the 5th floor of the airport connected to the hotel, there are many restaurants, so you can skip the hotel breakfast and choose to eat breakfast at one of the restaurants.

Arriving at the hotel around 7 AM on an early morning flight. From there, off to Disney. Although I declined, I was offered an early check-in (with additional fees) this time. I was able to check in smoothly without being asked for a deposit. There is an HSBC on the same floor as the counter, so it was reassuring to have a calm atmosphere while preparing cash at the ATM.

Loved this local gem. Stayed two nights at the Royal Garden as a way to end our Asia tour. So nice to be upgraded to a room with a harbor view to be able to see the sunrise in the morning and enjoy watching the boats along the harbor at night. The king room was simple, but comfortable. The Harbour Grand hotel has a beautiful lobby. However immediately upon checking in, both room keys didn’t work and we had to go back downstairs to get it reset. This happened twice during our 3 day stay. The room itself is nice, with partial views of the harbour. We requested for a king-sized bed for both rooms, which upon checking in, the staff said they would give it.

We seldom give negative reviews. Had to write this to highlight the bad attitude of this receptionist by the name of Judy. We reached the hotel at around 8 plus and obviously we hoped to get our registration done real soon. When it was finally our turn to be served, we were greeted by this unfriendly lady. She asked me questions like did I use my full name to book the hotel, how many nights I have booked, etc.

Everything was smooth and comfort. *Please take note that there will be security deposit upon checking in and will hold it until check-out and will be back to your bank account 7-14 days after the check-out* How to get there: If you have lots of bags, I suggest taking the A21 bus, price is 35$, can buy the ticket next to the bus terminal. Travel time around 44-50mins. Get off at Argyle, closer to the hotel than the next bus stop. Location: Best location! Has a footbridge to Langham mall and from the mall there’s an access to Mongkok MTR station.

Trust me you won’t go wrong with this hotel in Kowloon, HK. It is right in the middle of the city / Mongkok, attached to one of the large shopping malls – Langham Place which is very well known in HK. There are tons of both local and foreign eateries around and just 10 min to the Kowloon Airport Train Station or 35 min to HKIA by taxi. The hotel is extremely beautiful with large rooms and super comfortable pillows and beds. Try getting a room above 30th floor and asked for facing the harbour.
