The overall style and design of the hotel is excellent. Really fun and engaging. The check-in person and doorman were excellent. The room was very nice and comfortable and the small balcony was a nice bonus. The rooftop bar has a fabulous view and the staff up there was very friendly.

Iconic design and styling. Clean and comfortable room with double shower. Located an easy walk away from all the things your going to want to do in Athens, and restaurants and bars are super close (even on the roof top!). Gym doesn’t have heavy dumbbells (probably to protect the floor), but you can use the machines as an alternative. Or you know just skip your sesh and eat a souvlaki from the Greco’s Project instead!.

Wow, what a gorgeous and classy hotel! Service was top notch – attentive front desk and bell staff, comfortable lobby/bar area, and special touches like leaving a drink and treats the first night. Our queen suite was very spacious. The rooftop restaurant was amazing – the best “free hotel breakfast” I’ve ever had with an incredible Acropolis view. We also ate dinner at the restaurant and it was delicious – the nighttime view of the Acropolis is stunning from the restaurant. The shower/water pressure was good and they provided ample towels.

Where do I start? The food was amazing, the staff were very friendly and accommodating. Prior to our arrival Iโd read reviews stating you offered an avg continental breakfast. Weโd like to say there was nothing avg about the breakfast we had & we plant to write that in our online review. Weโve stayed at other places while visiting Athens. Electra Metropolis will be our choice of hotels in the future.

The public areas of Electra palace were clean, and appropriately luxurious for the price point. All of the staff were incredibly friendly, helpful and genuinely welcoming. The rooftop restaurant and pool were the ideal way to enjoy views of the Parthenon and Acropolis without suffering in the intense heat. Dinner and breakfast in the rooftop restaurant were exceptional. The pool was clean, warm and well-maintained.

The hotel was nice but located on a narrow road. Reception staff polite and a couple of doormen, but one particular gentleman floating around a little moody. The room we had was a classic double. The room itself was okbut the bathroom was tiny. Not very well thought about.

Location was decent, with spacious rooms. There was one 1 elevator which was very small, barely big enough for 2 people, so a few trips might be needed if travelling with baggage or bigger group sizes. Though the elevator was aged (like a few others in Athens hotels), it seemed like a novelty that was pretty interesting. The room itself was spacious and clean, with just tiny defects that were not too noticeable, such as the water damage on the wooden door frame of the shower room and the toilet door swinging inwards which made getting out of the toilet a bit of a hassle. Nothing too major though, still a fantastic choice.

Our stay at Athenian Foss was the first on our 2 week long trip to Greece. It really set the tone for the rest of our stay. The staff was so hospitable. The breakfast served downstairs in the attached restaurant was so filling we were full for most of the day. We ordered the Greek breakfast and English breakfast most mornings.

Lovely breakfast. Great location. Incorrect use of the Booking. com room reservation system (their listings give the impression you are selecting a specific room instead of a category), poor maintenance, staff impatient when issue is presented. When I booked our room, I looked at all the listings and chose what seemed like the listing for a yellow room with two large windows.

The owner Aphrodite was phenomenal. Dona at the front desk and the breakfast staff were super helpful and genuinely friendly. Location was very good short walking distances to restaurants, shopping, cathedrals and plazas. Acropolis was a 20-25?minute walk. Very clean room, good showers, water pressure, AC.

Stunning hotel in the heart of Athens, a perfect base to do all the sightseeing and shopping you could need! Hotel design is gorgeous and they have thought of almost everything (except perhaps triple glazed windows. ) to make your stay comfortable. Staff so helpful and friendly, restaurant was surprisingly great and the view is epic! Breakfast was lovely, as you would expect (with one negative noted below) Room has high walls and a wonderful space to relax after a long hot day walking around.

We absolutely loved our time at this fabulous hotel and didn’t want to leave! The staff was incredible, location superb, view stunning, and the amenities made it well worth the price point. I booked this for my parents’ wedding anniversary (my partner and I stayed in a separate suite), and their “bucket list” request was a rooftop with a view. Oh my gosh it was exactly what we/they were hoping for. We *loved* meeting there for breakfast every morning to plan our day AND the rooftop was lively with good layout for meeting fellow travelers in the afternoon/evening. I’m so pleased with our choice to stay here and wish the staff all the best in the future.
