THE VIEWS! This hotel is perched on the cliffs of Oia, Santorini, offering absolutely breathtaking views of the Mediterranean Sea. Absolute PARADISE and everything we have ever dreamed about. We got upgraded to a better room so then it represented even better value for money. The Room was like a Cave with all the creature comforts. The View over the Caldera (ocean) was absolutely incredible. It was literally “location location location”.

We stayed here for our honeymoon and it was amazing! Hoping for the perfect spot in Oia, we got exactly what we wanted. It is hard when choosing accom in Oia, as I would presume everyone is chasing that luxury accom with the traditional feel with some privacy as well. Elite suites is 100% that. Situated right in the heart of the most beautiful area of Santorini, surrounded by all the highest grade luxury accomodation but also kept private with well positioned walls and design. Some accomodation are 100% visible for all to see and private pools are visiable to shoppers and restaurants.

We’ve chosen the president suite at the hotel. It was really big and it’s for 4 people. We are only 2, and we have 2 King size beds and 2 showers and 4 toilets. The hotel arranged airport pick up and drop off service. The driver is a kind interesting old man, he introduced the island on the way to hotel.

Pros: Objectively speaking, the hotel is very well located, facing the azure sea and with a small courtyard for you to take your time and savour the view; very quiet and downtown. The rooms are clean and well equipped and it feels like the interior is well laid out with interesting kiln style rooms. Cons, the hotel was too hard to find.

The location was fantastic, the cave suite was beautiful, but none of that matters when the room is so musty/moldy smelling and reeks of cat pee that you cannot stay inside the room. My eyes were burning and swelled up and I could not breathe. I contacted the host and she told me to turn on the AC, but the smell was syringes coming from the AC (and you had to have it on because of the July heat). I asked for a different room, she refused. She then went on to Shane me for not arriving at 2pm “like everyone else” and then told me that every cave house in Santorini smells like that (which is not true, I have been coming to Santorini for over a decade, staying in cave houses every time, and only experienced 1 with a musty smell and it was due to a plumbing issue).

Beautiful property overlooking the caldera!!! Rooms were clean and super comfortable. Bathroom stocked with Molton Brown products (love!!!) and other bath necessities. We had the JR suite which had an outdoor Jacuzzi on the patio. It was great for relaxing after spending a day out in Santorini. Note that the patios w/ jacuzzi’s are not private but it didn’t bother my husband nor I.

I just came back from a trip to Santorini and this accommodation was one of the most impressive and happy memories of my journey 🙂 1. The kindness of the staff is in the top 1%: From the female manager at the reception to the male staff member who helped carry both our 23kg suitcases up and down the many winding stairs, I haven’t experienced such exceptional service anywhere else yet haha. 2. Room interior & amenities scored 100 points: Unlike other accommodations in Santorini, most of them have unique and beautiful designs characteristic of the island, and this place was truly beautiful. the accommodation was stunning.

We arrived by car that we arranged with booking. com. When we were a little distance away our drive called the hotel to inform. The hotel team was there to greet us and take our luggage down the stairs to the hotel (yes most people will need help with this). The check in process was very smooth and they wanted to greet us with wine.

Sadly found cockroaches during the stay (found 1 every night). It made me wonder if they were crawling onto the bed at night and felt uneased. The room was nice, spacious, and clean, but maybe it might not be too clean considering cockroaches. The staff were all very attentive, helpful and welcoming. Good location.

We stayed for 2 nights during our honeymoon trip. We booked the room with hot tub because hot tun picture in the web looked so nice even the price much more higher than the standard room. When we arrived, the GR staff already waited for us on the main road. It takes 3 minutes walking to reach the hotel. The staff was very nice and gave us a lot of information about Santorini.
