Location great… right next to the main pedestrian street Ermou and Syntagma Square (where the Parliament is). 24 min walk from Acropolis/Parthenon. 10 min walk to Plaka neighborhood. King George Tudor Hall restaurant for Dinner is Michelin star and amazing! I recommend not taking included breakfast for the entire stay especially since you can always decide to add it when you’re there (no need for reservations…this leaves you with the option to eat outside since there’s so much close by. BUT…I definitely recommend to try the hotel breakfast at least once…and after eating once you might decide to do it again like I did 😊!) All staff absolutely amazing!! Friendly and always there to help, and they go above and beyond Can’t connect to your Netflix account directly from TV (only chrome cast available).

My family is from Greece and before we went to stay with them, we decided to be pampered at a luxury resort in the heart of Athens. We stayed at the King George before and now Hotel Grande Bretagne. Both are great properties. Grande Bretagne is a beautiful hotel- luxury at its finest. Staff was amazing and accommodating.

Exceptional Stay with Outstanding Staff! I recently stayed at this hotel with my family, and I can confidently say it was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had. The room was spotless, beautifully decorated, and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Housekeeping did an excellent job every day, ensuring everything was perfect.

Amazing location, the rooms were incredible! Whoever worked on the design of the hotel did a freakin amazing job. You can see the meticulous attention to detail with design and overall feeling they tried to achieve in this hotel. Very clean, silent rooms, good prices for the quality. The organization and food. I am not really thrilled with the food menu but i figured out that this is not really a hotel for dining so i opted for dinners and lunches in restaurants.

The hotel is definitely top notch and highly rated (5*). My wife and I loved our room w/ balcony patio on top level (ideal for coffee in morning – relax in sun reading a book = beautiful patio) The Bed was so comfortable I sleep all day (one day). Exceptional staff from front door serviceman to concierge service desk (everyone treated us w/ love and respect) – breakfast every morning – perfect!! ) Our location was in the prime area of shopping upscale & other major hotels (5*) or walk over to to flea market area (15 min walk) (tons of shops from linens clothes, shoes, bags, jewerly, food), etc. You could eat local or upscale – variety of choices. Excellent location for coffee due to various shop and relaxing with locals and tourist.

Everyone from front desk, bellhops, security at front room service, cleaning were all A+. They make you feel welcomed and like family from the moment you enter their hotel. All the little details make it extra special. A few people who went above and beyond there like Artemis at the front desk. Always a smile, always asking us if we need cabs, reservations…just anything.

– We are walkers, so we thought this was a good location because it was close to many of the places we wanted to visit in the city. Also, it was close to Syntagma Square, where we caught the express bus to the airport. – The host left us some goodies (i. e. , coffee, juice, wine, and small snacks) in the kitchen and it was a very nice surprise! – If you are a light sleeper or cannot sleep if there is a lot of noise, you may not like this location.

We booked for a short night stay, arriving late and leaving early and this property worked well for us. The check in process and access to the room was seamless and straightforward. The room was very clean and well equipped. The location and access to nearby Syntagma station was great. The only downside was the noise along the street as the glass exterior windows don’t completely seal the room.

I loved this hotel. I Loved the stuff the architecture and the decoration. The rooms are very convenient and quiet. Everybody was so polite and helpful. The hotel just opened and it is located in the city center next to the Parliament and the Syntagma square.
