Each space comes with the essentials like air conditioning, a mini bar, and a television, ensuring your comfort after a day of exploring. While some guests have mentioned that certain areas are still waiting for their glow-up and might show a little wear, many rooms have been beautifully renovated, giving them a fresh, modern feel that’s just dope. Having laundry service during your trip can make things much easier, especially if you’re packing light for those Instagram outfits! While the staff’s dedication is consistently praised, a few visitors have mentioned that the internet connection could use a little boost, and sometimes the room access cards can be a bit finicky. ^^

The hotel served as my home base for my travels throughout Greece. As a result, the location was excellent for getting into Athens on the tram, connecting to the highway system for my daytrips to Evia, the Peloponnese, and to use the ferry service for a bit of island hopping. The location was close to shopping, and a wide variety of restaurants and cafes. While the lobby was great, the restaurant was good for a vegetarian, the room was in need of a bit of updating. The onsite parking capacity was adequate.

The staff were amazingly helpful and friendly, they did everything to get us into our room early (we arrived at 9am) I, unfortunately, did not get the hotel manager’s name (he had a ponytail) but he really did go out of his was to make us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The room was a good size for two people traveling but we did spend most of our time either at the pool or out and about exploring the surroundings. Everything was good.
Palmyra Beach Hotel
The Palmyra Beach Hotel is nestled in Glyfada, a super vibrant Athenian neighborhood that truly offers the best of both worlds. Picture this: you’re just one block away from the sparkling sea, perfect for those spontaneous beach days, and only a seven-minute stroll to Glyfada’s main shopping street, where you can find all the latest trends. This property truly blends relaxation with endless entertainment, giving you the freedom to explore the bustling town or simply unwind by the coast. Plus, with bus stops right outside and metro access nearby, getting to central Athens to see the Acropolis is totally effortless! ^^

We travel a lot with my bf and usually leave comments when it’s really great or when below expectations. This hotel is second option. The hotel was good and clean itself, with nice location by the sea and main shopping street (7 mins on foot). Despite of these positive aspects we realized that our room was badly isolated from noise. According to hotel description the room was supposed to be sound proof but it was not at all! Once we closed the window we couldn’t find any difference and it took several hours to fall asleep! I used ear plugs that night but didn’t help at all.

Almost everyone was beyond friendly! The food was excellent. I’ve never had such a wonderful breakfast selection. The maid cleaned the room as soon as the sign went on the door. Pool attendant was nice. We had a very sweet girl upon check in who tried very hard to assist my daughter when we thought that I may have misplaced my phone.

The food was fantastic, and decently priced, the portions were huge, staff was very helpful and kind. Pool was great, downside that it closed at 7pm every night (but that seemed to be true everywhere we went). Breakfast was great, coffee was super strong and there was a variety of items to choose from. The property was close to the beach, an ATM and within a decent walking distance to local food. Staff at the front desk were informative and helped set up transportation for us.

The check in and check out were quick. Room was spacious and clean. Felt old and not very modern (rom and hotel). Got a good price for the stay. Breakfast quality was average.

Lovely hotel with above and beyond personal touch to everything that made us feel like at home. Wonderful, helpful and friendly staff – reception, bellman, restaurant. I would like to take a moment to say thank you to the best hotel chef that I ever had, and we travel a lot. I am coeliac and he took time to prepare the most delicious and safe gluten free breakfasts for me. Thank you everyone for making our stay so enjoyable.
