Like the Grand Lounge was comfortable and definitely worth the extra to pay. The staff member on duty both Fri, sat pm before leaving around 4 and sun morning was delightful and always willing to assist. Feel the time of 6 to 8 was restrictive but 5 to 8 would be good as a drink before going out to dinner etc. We were fortunate to have a sneak preview of the Diplomatic room as it was being clean and oh my gosh that is a sensational room and something to have next time if we stay. My partner arrived at around 3 40ishpm at the Collins st Entry on Friday 21st and she was late for the wellbeing appt in Health Centre at 345 so I was left with 2 luggage, my work bag, a back pack and 3 coat hangers with clothes on and I said to the reception desk could I have a trolley to take the bags up and the person behind the desk said you have to go down to escalator or lift to the Russell St entry and I looked at him and with pure disgust, shake my head at him and then had to carry two bags, backpack, my work bag and my clothes to the lift to the room on 32nd floor on my own.

The proximity to Southgate Shopping Center gave us access to very good food (Japanese, Chinese, seafood) just a few steps away (indeed without actually leaving the hotel complex)! The location was perfect for museums and garden and close to the cathedral and the train station. and river tours. The pedestrian bridge across the river was easy and fun to cross. The room is spacious, and the bed and pillows really comfortable, and the location is quite simply ideal as was the river view from our window.

This is one of my favourite hotels in Melbourne. Elegant hotel, with beautiful fittings, and a lovely gentle atmosphere. The staff are efficient and helpful. And compliments to the staff in Aria for their warmth and friendliness. Aria is the hotel’s bar and casual dining location.

We wanted to stay in crown as itโs a great spot during school holidays. We struggled to get accom at any of the crown hotels so when Agoda advertised this last minute for a great rate, we snapped it up quickly! Great room, clean, comfy bed, you get to pick your pillow, and had a walk in closet which was brilliant. Facilities, especially the hotel indoor pool was perfection and hotel spa was a lovely experience. Room service was great! Rosetta ristorante for dinner was a huge disappointment but we cheered up once going to kingpin and did some bowling. Overall, great little one night getaway.

Stayed here on a Sunday night for a special celebration. The rooms look lovely, but we had a terrible nights sleep. The walls between rooms are not well soundproofed, we could hear our neighbours music and people just moving around their room in the night. People talking in the hallway as they walked past our room were also loud enough to wake you. The windows have just a thin pane of glass which made it seem like they were open all night we were also woken by the street traffic and businesses emptying their glasses into bins in the lane below, and then a garbage truck collecting.

We stayed in the suite and could not fault it. From the moment we arrived, greeted by the lovely staff, we were happy. We received a glass of Prosecco on arrival, brought up to our room. We opened the door to our room and were SHOCKED at the size! It was enormous. The included mini bar was a nice touch (a couple of soft drinks, water, lollies, chocolate, chips and nuts).
