It was my first trip to Singapore with my parents as a family vacation, so I made the booking based on reviews. I trusted the place because I heard many crew members use it, and I was ultimately satisfied with the results. Before going, I requested two single beds to ensure my parents could rest comfortably, but I received a response that it could vary depending on the situation, so I went without expecting it. Fortunately, they prepared a room with two single beds for us. The room was spacious and clean, and my parents were also pleased.

Booked a 3D2N staycation via Agoda. Requested a high-floor, non-smoking room, which the hotel provided as requested. Room was spacious, clean, and tidy. Air-conditioning worked well and was easy to adjust. WiFi connection was strong and easy to connect.

The location is great because it’s close to City Hall Station and has many bus stops, making it easy to get to anywhere. I walked to Merlion Park~ There are many shopping malls nearby, which makes it very convenient for dining~ I was a bit disappointed that the hotel’s main swimming pool was under renovation and I couldn’t use it!! I used the small outdoor pool instead! The room was relatively recently renovated, clean, spacious, and comfortable. They cleaned daily and replaced the towels every day. The breakfast selection is small, but it’s good for a light bite in the morning~ However, there are so many places to eat around the hotel that you might not need to choose breakfast. There is Funan Mall right next door, which has McDonald’s, a market, Toast Box, Ya Kun, milk tea, and more.

From a Japanese person’s perspective, the room is very clean, there are no issues with the shower pressure, hot water comes out immediately, and the hairdryer has proper airflow! Just this alone covers important points for choosing a hotel. Anyway, the interior is extremely clean with not a single piece of garbage, and they greeted us with a smile even at the 2 AM check-in, showcasing outstanding staff kindness. Perhaps because there are many Japanese guests, they create a friendly atmosphere with their limited Japanese (just greetings like “good morning,” “good night,” “cute,” “it’s hot,” etc. ). The bay view room is absolutely perfect.

1. The service staff are very good, from the front door receptionist to the check-in counter and all other departments. Upon arrival, I was greeted by a polite receptionist who helped carry my luggage to the room. Although there were a lot of people checking in, I didn’t have to wait too long. I checked in with a female staff member at the check-out counter, and her service was excellent with a clear and easy-to-understand English accent. 2. The room is as advertised, clean, with a beautiful view of the fountain, Suntec Mall, and the National Stadium from the 17th floor.

Check in was relatively challenging as the hotel mentioned they were not able to locate my booking. They requested for me to check with Agoda instead despite me showing them an email with a confirmed status. With the confirmed status, Agoda will not cancel nor refund any payment because it was evidently not their fault – but the hotel insisted Agoda was the one who cancelled and asked me to check with Agoda instead. Hotel said they could not do anything for me unless we book via walk in rates. I mean what is this???? We packed and were waiting for check in – the hotel could at the least arrange for a new reservation with my confirmed email.
