✨ Overall, it was a very very very good accommodation! It was one of the most satisfying places during my trip to Phu Quoc. ✔️ Advantages 📍 Good location It was conveniently close to the airport, and while I had to use Grab, it was close to the night market, making it easy to find meals. Just a short walk away, there were delicious local restaurants as well, which was perfect for enjoying local food. 🏖️ Resort by the beach The resort was directly connected to the beach, creating a great atmosphere, and the path along the beach made it an ideal spot for morning jogging. Running south, there were various resorts like Best Western, Novotel, Pullman, and Intercontinental, which added to the fun of exploration.

Our stay at Soul Boutique Hotel was fantastic. This hotel is in the new Phu Quoc Waterfront Marina Complex. The staff were friendly and eager to assist at all times. The room was clean, very comfortable and just as depicted in the pictures with beach towels, beach bag, thongs and an umbrella provided in each room to use during the stay. Complimentary jar of biscuits in the room and vouchers for ice cream on arrival as there is a small ice cream parlour next to reception.

I was worried by the mixed reviews regarding the room conditions but went ahead with my booking as the location and price fit my expectations. Room condition – acceptable to me as wallpaper (I was dismayed by earlier reports of old, peeling wallpaper) is now placed by new paint and I did not have to worry about stained carpets as my room is fully tiled (I think the difference/changes only apply to certain rooms, not all of them). I like the fact that the room is so spacious and has everything that is found in typical large hotels. There were some small yellow ants crawling at the dressing table – not acceptable for those (like me) who can’t tolerate seeing insects in the room and some spots do need more vigorous cleaning/maintenance. Breakfast – yes, very warm in the large dining space as it is not airconditioned (cooled by some standing fans only – same for the lobby).

This is a resort we chose because it has a large swimming pool and a private beach. The swimming pool has varying depths from very shallow to 1.4m, making it suitable for both children and adults. There was a short foam party at the pool on Wednesday and Saturday, and both kids and adults enjoyed the time very much. The private beach is quite windy and the waves are strong, so be careful if you go in; you might end up in the River Jordan! Instead, I recommend a short hop in the water. The combination of the blue sky, the pool water, yellow sunbeds, and green beach towels makes for great photo opportunities, so keep that in mind.

The hotel is beautiful and we were even given a complimentary upgrade and could check in early after a long flight. Our room was spacious with a separate living room. The staff are wonderful and can’t do enough for you. It’s got 2 pools and towels are provided by the pool. It’s close to a few nice restaurants but it’s only a very short and cheap cab ride into the main town.

Across the street are some low key mixed-use properties where you can find convenience stores, restaurants, ice cream, and LAUNDROMAT. But honestly, the island is pretty small. Doesn’t take long to drive across. They don’t tell you that there are two pools.

It was one of the most satisfying places during my trip to Phu Quoc. ✔️ Advantages 📍 Good location It was conveniently close to the airport, and while I had to use Grab, it was close to the night market, making it easy to find meals. Just a short walk away, there were delicious local restaurants as well, which was perfect for enjoying local food. 🏖️ Resort by the beach The resort was directly connected to the beach, creating a great atmosphere, and the path along the beach made it an ideal spot for morning jogging. Running south, there were various resorts like Best Western, Novotel, Pullman, and Intercontinental, which added to the fun of exploration.

Our stay at Soul Boutique Hotel was fantastic. This hotel is in the new Phu Quoc Waterfront Marina Complex. The staff were friendly and eager to assist at all times. The room was clean, very comfortable and just as depicted in the pictures with beach towels, beach bag, thongs and an umbrella provided in each room to use during the stay. Complimentary jar of biscuits in the room and vouchers for ice cream on arrival as there is a small ice cream parlour next to reception.
